Cute little ma and pa diner with big portions and friendly service! Stopped in after camping and left in a low grade food coma. Fed two adults and four hungry kids for a reasonable amount and had enough left over to bring home, too!
Ho lee crap, that was fantastic. Came in to escape a rainy day of shopping and found this gem. Wow. These portions are humongous and scrumptious. Two people per breakfast plate will get full. The whipped butter is amazing and I would buy a gallon of this. Really friendly staff who are on top of coffee and soda refills. Glad we don't live here or I would put on 10 lbs per month coming here. Six stars!
Wonderful breakfast today. This was my first time here at Blue Bird and I loved it. I had the three pancakes with eggs and bacon along with an orange juice and water. Waitress was cute and friendly. I will return!
I came up to Arlington for work. I came to this diner for breakfast every day. Places like this should be protected at all costs. The biscuits are homemade and delicious.
First visit to the Blue Bird cafe and had a great time. The portion sizes were large, they didn’t skimp on the bacon, and our server Karen was just wonderful! She kept up with the busy breakfast rush and still found the time to chat and connect with customers. I also appreciated how they had brochures and posters around promoting local events. Thank you for a great meal!

Great place, great food! We were in town on a New Year’s Day adventure and wanted to grab a bite. Our server Tank was awesome and knew how to make the perfect mimosa. We sat at the counter and got great service, delicious food, and a fun step back to simpler times in this delightful community diner. It’s a relaxing atmosphere where family and friends can gather with a simple menu that will still have something for everyone. We can’t wait for another trip up from Tacoma to enjoy! The hash browns were perfectly cooked and the waffles are a must.
